Role Description
As an Ambassador, you will be an integral part of a regionally and nationally connected network, playing a pivotal role in raising awareness of F2T and shedding light on the intricacies of the SEN community that are the focal point of our efforts. This position is entirely voluntary and encompasses various responsibilities, including inspiring individuals to champion the mission and principles of F2T, enlightening audiences you encounter about our F2T ethos, and expanding the geographical scope of F2T’s influence.
What would we like our Ambassadors to do?
Assist in organizing both local and national fundraising and awareness events to support F2T. Ensure that all received donations and inquiries regarding fundraising or volunteering are promptly conveyed to the dedicated fundraising team at F2T. Engage in informative discussions and deliver presentations about F2T’s initiatives, leveraging provided materials and real-life case studies. Collaborate with professional associations in the local community, including universities, schools, and support groups within the council, to expand F2T’s reach. Enhance F2T’s online visibility by actively participating in social media efforts. Advocate for the involvement of practices and businesses in our mission by encouraging them to join our Corporate Supporter Scheme.

Who are we looking for to be an Ambassador?
We are searching for individuals who are deeply passionate about the F2T cause. Those with established connections and networks within the broader community, such as the Special Needs community, are highly valued—whether through their profession, affiliations with member organizations or universities, or personal ties to someone benefiting from or involved in the art sphere. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are a must, along with the confidence to engage with others in backing our initiatives. We seek individuals who are proactive in reaching out to diverse audiences, encouraging them to contribute to the charity either through fundraising efforts or by volunteering their time.
How much time commitment is involved?
We would recommend a commitment of at least one year with up to a maximum of 3 hours per month for this role as an Ambassador. This duration is essential for us to dedicate our time and resources to properly recruit, train, and support you in your responsibilities. We understand that Ambassadors serve voluntarily and may have additional obligations, so there is room for some adaptability within these guidelines.
How will we support you ?
We want to make sure that all Ambassadors feel equipped to carry out this role confidently and effectively, and so F2T“s fundraising team will support you in a number of ways.
- a welcome meeting which will be 1:1 with one of the fundraising team or in a group with other Ambassadors if recruited at the same time.
- an induction pack containing presentation materials, case studies, information leaflets, fundraising materials and tips.
- regular contact with the fundraising team to provide updates on Artistic and its work, and to offer any advice or guidance relating to your role.
- liaison with Ambassadors working in other regions to share ideas and information.
Expenses
We will reimburse any agreed out of pocket expenses incurred when carrying out this volunteer role in line with the Group’s volunteer expenses policy.
